Join me for a week of art, wonder, and la dolce vita in stunning Le Marche, Italy. We'll gather at the gorgeous, Michelin-rated Hotel Leone, a boutique hotel perched on the edge of Montelparo, a picture-postcard medieval hilltop village full of breathtaking beauty, fascinating history, and endless inspiration.
Whether you're a seasoned painter or have never picked up a brush, you're welcome here. We'll gather pieces on the road, some we keep, some we let go, and come home with art, friendships, and memories to carry on.

This isn't only a painting retreat. It's a week of slowing down and noticing a place deeply enough to carry it home with you. Together we'll gather the colors, textures, stories, and small moments of Italy and turn them into a personal, handmade record of our days there.
No painting experience needed. The goal isn't to paint Italy perfectly; it's to create meaningful visual memories inspired by it.

Your days will be a beautiful blend of art-making, inspiring excursions, incredible food and wine, and plenty of time to relax and explore:

A Bit About Jen
Jen is a Southern California artist and educator who believes creativity is less about talent and more about wonder: noticing what moves you and following it with colors and marks that make you feel vibrant and free.
For fifteen years, Jen has helped people of all ages and levels, from seasoned painters to total beginners, slow down, loosen up, and discover their own way of seeing. She has led art retreats in Italy and France and taught workshops in California, Arizona, and Illinois. Her teaching is warm, playful, and permission-packed.
Jen loves painting people, places, and animals, and delights when someone realizes they can say with color and marks what they struggle to say with words.
In Montelparo, she'll be right beside you, sketchbook in hand.
